Used rims and tires, should I balance

I just received a set of used rims and tires w/ approximately 2500 miles on them. Should I get them rebalanced or should I just put them on and see how they feel?
TIA

Why bother? If the weights look like they're intact then why waste the money? Take a look to see if any might be missing.

2500 miles is nothing. Throw them on and use the $40 for gas.
