Used '05 GT
I went to Joe Cooper Ford here in Tulsa, OK to have my '98 serviced this morning...and the was an older fellow in the middle of buying a new F-250 and working out a trade on his 10 day old silver 5-speed 2005 Mustang GT with machined wheels. I talked to him for a minute... he said it was crazy fun to drive but he got tired of shifting. Go figure?
One of the salesmen called me a half hour ago and said that the trade went through if I wanted to look at buying it...but I don't even want to test drive a GT coupe till I see the verts, lack of impulse control=an impulse purchase!

The sales guy I was talking to said 24-26K because he didn't know how the car was optioned and the trade wasn't finalized...he sounded like there might some room to negotiate a little lower if was really serious.
They've got 4 or 5 sixes on the lot at MSRP with no mark ups, so it doesn't look like they're into gouging customers.

Sounds like there is more to what that guy is telling you " didn't feel like shifting" ha ha
I bet he didn't tell his wife he was buying the thing and she made him return it. :nono: :nono: Now that's a believable story!!!!!

I work at Joe Cooper Ford in YUKON; my buddy went up there when we bought that store last month. His name is Toby if you would like another contact. Tell him I sent you (Barrett). If anyone wants more info on this car, let me know and I will check...
BTW
We have a Windveil Blue GT and will get a Screaming Yellow GT this week. B)
If anyone is interested, give me a call (800)522-4631.

I loved that joke - it was on "The Last Comic Standing"
(Sorry to be off-topic)
I found a used GT. It was the exact car I ordered. They wanted $30k for it. I told him to find another stinker. The sad part is, he probably will. He also tried telling me that Ford had stopped making the mustangs for about 3 months.
