Kooks LT headers with both a catted x and off-road x pipe and retune The headers did make a difference. I didn't bother with throttle body and even though I'm now pushing 479rwhp I still have the stock throttle body. There were just too many posts and complaints of problems from people that switched to the BBK throttle body during the time. The FRPP is a very nice piece but without cams and headers I personally don't feel it's necessary.
your making 479rwhp with intake, tune, and exhaust?

I think the tip-over point is at 3500rpm, or very close to that.

I pretty much still have the stock cats and H-pipe on my 2006 GT along with my Saleen S/C running at 7.5 boost with a 3.6" pulley..

Being that my car has been lowered by 1.4" in the front and 1.2" in the rear, I'm concerned that if I upgrade to LT headers ? that I'll end up bottoming out and I will not waste my time and money on shorty headers as they provide no real difference over the stock manifolds and H-pipe, so my only other option would be to upgrade to an off road X or maybe even a Mac Prochamber and find out if that may do the trick ? If not, then I'll just have to live with the stock exhaust

If your definitely planning on upgrading to LT headers ? Then I highly recommend against lowering your car !

I'm at a 1.5"-2" drop on k springs The kooks headers are no lower than the stock over axle pipes. In fact the lowest point in my car is the stock k member. Just put a bridge jack on my 4 post lift and the closest thing to clearing was the k member. And the rear lca relo brackets.
