Updated TMS 05 Owners Statistics

:geek: I think you have too much time on your hands. I like it though. I love spread sheets. You might want to "freeze' the top row, so you can see the titles as you scroll down.
Question???
Under "Spoiler" - What does BOTH mean?
Redfire GT Optional 17" No 1
Redfire GT Optional 17" Yes 21
Redfire GT Optional 17" Both 25
At first I though it might mean both "included" and "not included" for the owners of the optional wheel. But then I noticed the numbers don't add up (1+21 =/ 25).
Seem like I have too much time on my hands.

The reason the #s don't add up (21+1=22 not 24) is because there were 2 Redfire GTs that I didn't know whether it had a spoiler or not; but I knew they had one or the other (both)
Did you pick thru the whole site to get this data???
So I decided just to do a systematic search through the thread since mid Oct. I didn't go back a read through every thread. I would look for thread titles in 05 discussion that would most likely have info from new 05 owners such as:
Poll: How do you like your 05
What kind of gas mileage are you getting in your 05
Sonic Blue members check in
Who 's having problems with their 05s
Transmission vibrations in 05s
I got the call today
When this site crashed, I went over to stangnet to try to fill in some the gaps in info I had (many members have the same name here as on stangnet) and was able to fill in quite a few blanks on wheel and spoiler data.
Also went back and looked at all the people that I didn't have spoiler info on, to see if they were from Canada. If they were then I added a "Yes" to the spoiler info column.
I finished out the 05 discussion forum, and it dawned on me that there was lots potential info in the technical forums (V8 and V6). Lots of guys don't post in the discussion area but do in the technical/performance ones.
Yeah it took a long time but I have a character flaw. Once I start something, I gonna finish it even if it kills me. Took about 2 weeks to complete.
And you guys sometimes made it very hard. You would order one thing, then cancel your order. You would praise spoiler deletes and optional wheels and get the opposite. You would say you were going to get one color and switch to another. Or you would take pictures of your car after you had modified the wheels
It just became a challenge to me to complete. Now I'm going to get a life (get back to old life)

You all are welcome. One of the admin is working on making a pdf file so that those without excel can still view.
The data is not really meant to be exact down to the gnat's butt, but just to give you an idea of what people on here are buying (what's popular what's rare).
Thanks but I'm concluding my work on this project. Although interesting it became a rather grueling task to complete.
Anyone is welcome to make copies of the spreadsheet and keep the ball rolling.
Also keep in mind that TMS will have an official registration page in the future.

OK. You should be designated the Official Mustang Source Statistision.
Everyone report to AFBLUE when their car comes in.

Wow nice list! It's fun to check out the stats, even though I'm not in it.
Anyway add another Mike to the Sonic Blue crew.....just playing....how many Sonic Blue owners named Eddie?

Hey guys, put me down with a yellow GT. Bullit wheels. I ordered no spoiler, but have put a factory on on since.
Has anybody seen another yellow GT with cloth, int sport pkg, manual, shaker 1k, and bullits. If so let me know. My combo might be kinda rare.

But think about it. Keeping it updated will be easy compared to compiling it from the beginning. Probably about one car a day to add.
But you have given me an idea. How about a sticky at the top of the mustang forums that for new 05 owners to check in?
For example:
Sticky title "New O5 owners: Please provide your car details here:
Please list the following info when you purchased your car.
Corbra, GT or V6
Coupe or Convertable
Color
Wheel option
Spoiler
You also have them put interior options too such as IUP.
Then it would extremely easy to put in a spreadsheet.
Just a thought.

That's pretty cool info. Thanks!
