So there I went to go pick up my 2006 V6 stang. I went inside and we went over all the paperwork. My black mustang goes rollin right passed the window and I stare at it with a huge smile. I can't wait, oh yea baby. It was all prepped and ready to go. So we finish up inside and walk out to get my car. HOUSTON THERE'S A PROBLEM! What's this? There are thousands of little white specks of paint on my car. On the windshield, on the roof, on the door, on the side mirror. Everywhere! Looks like on the way over to the dealership some overspray must have hit the car. Plus the passenger window must have been down because there is even a few white specks on the passenger armrest and handle. Unbelievable. Well they say it's water based paint and it will come off. So now I am going back tommorrow afternoon to pick it up. I'm hoping there are no problems because I had my hopes up ready to drive that thing home. Well there's my story. wish me luck.

My question would have been....Why didn't they remove the paint when they were doing the prep?
Why bring the car around to present it to you with paint spots all over it?
Real brainiacs I guess

Either that, or they drove it right by the paint shop.

I would hope that they would notice something like that during prep.

When we saw the paint spots the dealer went to the back to take care of it. He came back and said oh yea they knew about it. I mean how could you not, the spots were everywhere. It was some young kid with tattoos that prepped it. But I mean he's probably only getting minimum wage and didn't give a flying fudge. I'll let you guys know what happens when I come back tommorrow.

By the way I was mad, but as long as they fix it, it's all good. They got me the car in about 6 weeks from when I ordered it. Compared to most on here I have nothin to complain about. Other than this little incident everything has been great.
