Underhood insulation?

Does anyone know of any ideas of a different underhood insulation piece? I just ordered one from WMS and I think that a black piece of cardboard would fit better than theirs! It sags and drags items!

What's wrong with Ford's? New or wrecking yard?

Mine never went back on after I installed the Foose hood. And with the entire underside painted, it looks a ton better than the installation anyhow

I too bought this 2 years ago, what a piece of Cr*p! I use it on the garage floor and it doesn't even fit well there. I put the original back and it even works with a strut brace.

The 08 liner seals with the FRPP/Bullitt CAI to keep hot air out. Don't know about the 05.

The 05 liner does not have a recessed area over the CAI. Haven't had any problems though since I removed the liner.

Removed the liner and had the underside painted black in the shape of where the orignal liner was so the edges still show the body color.

Can't you get an 08 liner (Dealer or wrecking yard) so you actually have a cold air intake?

Yea, I need to. The underside of the hood wasn't totally painted.
