Ricer- anyone that just throws things onto their car's and makes them look like a cheese grator on wheels. ie tuner cars or 'rice cars'

also known as ricing a car out

This may be the stupidest question someone has asked so far, but would someone please tell me what a "ricer" is? Sorry, I'm getting such an education on this website, but for the life of me I cannot figure out "ricer", and I've seen it in a number of posts. (There always has to be someone you have to lead along Thanks in advance.
Usually a hopped up Japanese sports car is refered to as a ricer.

That is only half of the definition. If you take even a Mustang, and put hug rims w/ very low-profile tires, a huge spoiler, and coffee-can exhaust on it, a lot of people will consider your car riced-out.

It's not the brand-name, it's the mods that make a car rice. Feel free to disagree.

The very definition of Rice is that the car is from Asia, where they all eat.............Rice!! B)

If it was German, you would be a Saurkrauter

English, well, Chav (no relation to food, sorry)

If it was french, they would be IDIOTS for buying a French tinpot! (I should know, I've had 2 :bang: ).........etc, etc!!!

WaveMan,
Re-read autothing's post. He didn't say KITT was a Corvette.
He thinks a Corvette 'may' have had a WELCOME in it and
that would be Knight Riderish.

LOL, let me handle this one a

Ricer (n): A ricer is a the owner of, or the actual car, usually an asian import that purveys itself as a modded performance car, when it was probably not a performance car to begin with, and the only mods are those that have nothing to do with actual performance, such as body kits, neon, stickers, nonfunctional hood scoops and spoiler :hiding: these are usually done cheaply and unpainted. Many items are also removed for weight saving. See picture below.
