Two V6 questions.
#1
I have two V6 questions that I've never seen answered before, so I figured I might ask both questions in one super duper thread.
1) Any word on V6 0-60 time? I know that one of the major auto mags clocked the V8 auto at 5.1. I'm wondering about the V6 manual bone stock. Anyone have an educated guess?
2) The V6 premium and GT come with a "6-way" power driver's seat. What exactly does 6 way mean? Forward, backward, recline, decline, up, down?
I would like the seat to adjust up-down, because I'm particular about my seat.
Here's the question: I want the V6 deluxe (non power). Will it adjust in all of the ways that the power seat will?
If I'm correct that the power seat goes up/down, (but the deluxe won't) I might have to invest in the premium.
Thanks!

C&D clocked the 3.8 Essex V6 (the 99+ version with 193hp) at 7.1 for the manual and 8 flat for the AODE. I would imagine the new car, which has more power, more torque, and better gearing should improve on each of these times by at least half a second. All told, a properly driven manual V6 should easily hit 60 in the mid 6 second range, which is pretty dam impressive in it's own right. :drive:
