the turn signal continues to blink

I have a 08 gt conv 5 speed. the right turn signal continues to blink as if you are making a right hand turn. I replaced the turn signal switch and that didn't fix it. it stayed on for 2 days and then one day it went off. I can turn my left turn signal on and the right stops blinking and left work like it is suppose too. but as soon as it goes back to the middle position. the right starts blinking again. I have disconnected the front right and the back tail light and side marker light. it is still showing up in the cluster. I have checked the passenger floor board to see if it was taking on water from a leak. nothing not wet at all. any suggestions?

It does sound like the SJB getting wet, has it rained recently? If not, even though there's no indication of water now if it got wet in the past it could still be your problem. Also have you added anything electrical recently where you tapped into the wiring? If you tap into the 5V reference wiring by mistake it can cause weird electrical problems.

Took the sjb out and cleaned it. Still no love. The battery was acting funny. Put the battery charger on it. Put it too 40amp it would not start. Switch to 200 amps. It started and the turn signal went off. Turned the charger off. The turn signal came back. Went bought a battery. Still a issue is there. Getting a little frustrated with it. I have added any thing to the car. It has led tail lights. Disconnected them and it is still on.

Have you had a diode test on the alternator. I know these cars get hinky when the charging system is acting up, all sorts of different systems starts acting up on the dashboard and ****.

The multi function switch in the steering wheel could be bad. Just a thought.

Did you check your blinker fluid, you may have added too much.

LED taillights? Try putting the factory lights back and see if the issue stays or goes.

lol. yeap the blinker fluid was right on the money. it was the SJB. got one from the junkyard for 75 bucks and it is good to go now. tho the LED tail light were jacked up on the wiring. so had to fix them too. here is pic of the car with my little man.

Good deal. $75 is not bad. Did you find a car that was a similar match, or did you have to get the SJB programmed?

Did a search on car-part.com and there was 3 in the area. So put it in and didn't have to do anything to it. Cured the issue.
