Does anyone know if the factory is building the mustang with the lightweight posi unit that was the answer to the TSB "LIMITED SLIP AXLE CHATTER, SHUDDER, BINDING SENSATION, OR VIBRATION DURING LOW SPEED TURNING MANEUVERS".
I hope not, I want the HD rear end. Is there a way to request that they dont replace it during the build?

The TSB's are usually announced long after the production line has changed to the new part.

Wouldnt it be funny if its the same idiot simply not using the proper friction modifier??? 99% of chatter problems come from that. Most reccuring repairs are left to the same tech to do until its fixed. Maybe he's just consistantly doing it wrong and the TSB makes it seem like the part is simply defective The kid working on it may just have some friction modifier for a transfer case on his tool box and keeps adding the wrong stuff, or none at all.
