The self-test will go through all the speakers then briefly put up a series of letters and numbers... the last digit should be either A or B. If it's anything else, you'll have to have the dealer pull the unit and check for you.

I don't think the B series is the answer. EleanorsMine has a B series and she is still having problems. I think I read that others with a B series are still having problems.

I am not sure what the problem is. After talking with my service tech, he is GUESSING that based on the number of the TSB, he THINKS that they are switching vendors. This is only one man's thoughts and I am not sure how true. He said he was only guessing.

I am fixin on being on shaker #3..... :notnice:
Had it replaced, and it began acting a fool again on the road trip. Spitting out as bad discs, skipping songs, rewinding again.

I just did the self test too. I have the A series. I get the cd error message, and cant load a new cd etc.

I have also noticed I dont get hardly any base. I have the base totally up. When I did the self test, when it got to the subwolfer, it was a mumbly growl, non-destinguishable words, and can hardly hear it. So, do I have an additional problem? Know of a way I can correct it with configuring the speaker sounds?

Help?
