Is this how you determine if you will buy the car or not?

Yes, its one huge consideration for me, if I can't get two sets of clubs in the trunk, I don't buy, period.

I play golf, if I can't get my clubs in the trunk, the mustang simply will not work for me. Love golf, love the 05, and it appears I can have the best of both worlds!

I'm not sure if I would be ordering a Mustang if my Family and Bicycle didn't fit in it.
The trunk?

Just a small factiod for those who have ever looked in the "trunk" of Camaros/Firebirds...there's a small hole on the left side of the storage area..specifically for the heads of golf clubs.

Go figure...reading this, I guess GM knew that was a big deal.

Assuming she isn't dead, how did you talk your wife into getting in the trunk?
Hah, Awesome, it must have gone something like this...

Kluski: Honey some guy on the internet wants to know if he can fit "Golf bags" in the trunk. I figure we should help him out. Get in the back and gets take a picture as a reference point for him.
Kluski's wife: Ok! [/b][/quote]
It was HER idea. She is only 4'-11". When I brought the car home and opened the trunk to look in, she laughed. She said: "I bet I can fit in there." So she took her shoes off and jumped in. She laid perfectly flat. Her head and toes barely touched each side. So I assume the trunk is about 5" wide.

I guess there are a bunch of us golf/mustang fans. When I went to the dealer I checked to see if my carry bag would fit in the trunk before I even sat in it. This was more curiosity though; I would have used the back or passenger seat.

If I can get to the golf course (with my clubs) on a motorcycle then any car will do! (This is where the dual strap comes in handy.)
