I just recently started showing my 2009 GT/CS. This car is my daily driver and has 106,000 miles.


Last Sunday at a show, I saw the trunk light was on. I could not find a switch to turn it off. Several hours later the light was off. Does this light have a timer on it? How long does the light stay on before it shuts off?

It is on a timer. Not sure as to the time but it most likely is 5-15 minutes. The switch is in the latch I believe with no other easy way to turn it off. You would have to wire a switch in or unplug it.

 

Thanks for the info. I figured there must be a timer, since the bulb actually went off. I'll have to try and watch the time it takes to go off.
