We are closing in, on the end of the first summer car show season, for our 2005+ Mustangs. I thought it would be cool for us show winners to post pictures of our trophies in one place. (Possible Sticky?) 
Nothing fancy for me. I just appropriated a metal file cabinet in a corner, at my office for this purpose. Good conversation piece for clients. Now, when some clients come into my office they might say
"Oh, I use to have a 1965 Mustang")
The picture on the wall, shows views of the front, back, interior and engine, if they are interested. Clients that are GM or Mopar fans, probably just ignore it.
To display the Dash Plaques that I received at the various shows, I used business card magnets on the back of the Plaques. This works out great for rearranging them as I get more and also for holding up posters etc.
So here is mine... Lets see yours...

This is from earlier this summer. I have more now, but no pic of them........
This summer so far I have had 4 : 1st place wins
1: 2nd Place win ( lost to an '05 Roush )
Another show this Sunday and 2 more in October, then I think I am done for the year.
It has been a great summer!!!

Wish i could show you a picture of my Ford Nationals First Place, in the 03-04 Cobra Class, as well as the Award of Excellence at the 40th Annv Mustang Show in Nashville, in the Cobra Class. (anyone who went, will know that they gave out Awards for top 5 in class, but no actual 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc...) This is cool post, maybe i will have to take a picture later when i get my latop back.

Those are great everyone! I like the setup and look forward to finally going to some car shows ... late 2006 I hope. If not I can wait for 2007 to start hitting them with my car.

Here is the one show that I entered this year at Summit Racing. It was their mustang show and I was lucky enough to have beaten a couple of Saleens that had pulled in, one being a supercharged model. I think the judges liked the "naturally" aspirated personal touches over the "I paid a lot of money and should win" models. Hopefully it's just the beginning. I have to laugh at the fact that I was always laughing at the "car show" people for just sitting around all day with their cars but I must admit you find a lot to talk about with the car people and I really enjoyed the time. Can't wait to see them again next year. (sorry, only pic I have of the trophy and car).
