Hey everyone! I just recently purchased a 2006 Mustang GT... Love it! First pony ever! Lol anyways... The transmission makes a whiny noise when I'm in gear and coming to a stop. Typically in gears 2-4. Any suggestions?

 

are you sure its not the rear end? How many miles are on it?

 

I assume its a manual transmission? They are not the most refined and are pretty noisy. For me, it reminds me that, despite being a fairly new car, it's pretty raw and uncompromising. Just like a muscle car should be

 

Well I'm not positive it's the trans but that's my guess. There's just under 60k
