Has anybody gotten or tried to get better gas mileage by consistantly disengaging the TC system?

There is no difference under normal driving. The traction control would be a factor if it were to engage frequently due to loss of traction by any wheel. The most likely scenario would be high speed turning such as in a road course or track and there cannot be an expectancy of efficient fuel consumption in that enviroment.
