Traction control/ABS problem

Traction control/ABS problem
Last week while making a left hand turn with ETC on, I swung the back end out a bit. Instantly my check traction control message came on and I lost ABS and ETC. After stopping and restarting the car both functions returned. This problem started to happen more frequently over the next couple days. Whenever the check ETC came on the car decelerated greatly. When the function unpredictably returned, the car took off like a rocket (scary). While accelerating from 70 MPH on the highway it happened again, and the car slowed so suddenly it felt like whiplash!! Had there been rain or snow on the roads I have no doubt that the car would have spun out, it was that dramatic. From that point on the ABS and ETC were disabled, and there was bad drag like I had the parking brake engaged while driving. As soon as I let off the gas pedal, the car decelerated quickly. At once point I was so pissed off that I stopped on a deserted street to test the ETC and the ABS. Several lauches and firm stops confirmed that neither were functioning. On my last test I hammered the launch to redline then locked it up as hard as I could. There was a loud clunk, all functions returned to normal! No problems for 24 hours and the car is going in ASAP.If anyone encounters this problem I strongly recommend not driving the vehicle at high speeds or in adverse weather, as the sporadic accelerations and decelerations are that dramatic. If anyone has prior knowledge of such a problem, please let me know. Thanks, Frank..
