Towing an '05?
Hello All,
I'm going to be towing my '05 Mustang from Virginia to Colorado tomorrow. I will unfortunately be using a two-wheel trailer. The question I have is do I tow it by the front or rear wheels (it's a manual transmission)? Another silly question is if I tow it by the front (i.e. rear wheels still on the road), will it still accumulate miles, even if the car is off? Thanks in advance!

Rent a full sized U-haul car trailer dude. I've seen alot of them. You're just asking to mess up your front end otherwise!

if you are renting the trailer from U-Haul the price difference between a 2 wheel and a full is only $10. I think the 2 wheel is 69 and the full is 79. I'll be using a full on my move from Florida to Virginia in a couple months.

I'm towing my GT about 600 miles in a few days on a U-Haul 'Auto Transport'. As linked to above, it's a flatbed instead of a 2 wheeler. It was only $65. I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow, it has been a pain getting one. I hope you have better luck than I have.
