The debate rages about which Red exterior (Torch Red or Redfire) matches the Red interior best...... They both look great in their own way: Torch matches perfectly, and so this will be a love or hate because of the perfect match.....and the Redfire has a subtle contrast that looks great as well. First pic here is of the TORCH RED....

they both are close i think it's my monitor or my eyeballs or something because i don't see much diff in the pics the open door pic actually looks like a closer identical match than the torch red

i have been a little concerned because i ordered a redfire with ICAP and not entirely sure i made the right decision

Dude, if one wasn't an automatic and the other a manual, I would have thought they were of the same car. Whatever digital camera you have, it has issues with accurate reds. Sorry.

I took the last 2 pics with my camera...... The first one of the Torch Red is a posting from 'Pics of Yours' forum by someone else with their camera

I can tell a difference. I think they both look great. I went with the Redfire because I think the contrast will look great. But that's just me. Black looks awesome with ICAP as well.

Red muscle cars need BLACK interiors...just BLACK with the aluminum inserts...Since Black is not an option, Dark charcoal with the inserts (IUP).

I think looking at the door sill/jamb area works best for me...... There is a difference, but it's not a great one. In other words....you can't go wrong either way, so the future owners that ordered one way and are havy second thoughts/worries about whether they chose the right red? The answer is 'NO' you didn't.

NOT...... I've seen plenty of old Corvettes that are Red on Red.......and from that era, when I say Red Interior, I mean Red Interior (carpet, dash, doorpanels, mats, steering wheel, etc.). 'Nuff said.....

I think it is a characteristic of Redfire that it looks different in bright light and shadow, same as Sonic Blue. The door photo is hard to pick out as a Redfire. I just like that color anyway. In other photos, the Torch Red has looked flat, but my impression could be colored <sorry> by the many old faded red Mustang convertibles I have seen.

Red on red can be real classy... I agree that either redfire or torch is going to look great with the red interior accents.

I like them both. I'm a red fan (obviously), but was afraid that the red interior may be too much red with a red exterior. Now, I see that it would work really well! I prefer the Torch Red, but the Redfire looks good with the ICUP too. Either would be a good choice, as would all black.
