Just talked to my salesman at Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston. He said he was on the phone with Ford for 15 minutes trying to get the shipping status of my car. It seems that my Mustang GT with IUP was removed from the train and sent back to the plant for some sort of quality check. :bang: Ford would not say what the problem was but did state that 3000 vehicles were affected.

As true as that may be Kev, it doesn't stop it from stinking a mean one.

Don't lose complete hope just yet. Mine was held for a similar check, but is currently on it's way. Good luck!

How is Tommie Vaughn treating you?

I want to find out who to trust before I buy next year. I want to order one and haven't done so before.

Thanks

Craig

Joe - Terry was telling me about your car today, man that blows. I hope you get it soon!!

Craig - I'm also getting my car from TVF, and from a different salesman than Joe. I think Joe will post back good reviews of TVF, and I know I'd recommend Terry Hinkle there.

Craig,

David Bagby at Tommie Vaughn Ford has been treating me great. He is in fleet and internet sales. Needless to say he is very internet/email savy. Every time I've sent him an email asking a question he has responded almost immediately. Very responsive and a man of his word. Several other people where I work have bought Fords through David, all reporting that they are very satisfied with their purchase.

Todd,

Might be sooner than I thought. I got the bad news from my salesman, David Bagby around lunch time today. Then, on the way to the gym after work, I talked to my wife and she said she just got a call from the dealership. David Bagby told her there was some sort of mix up about our car. As it turns out the car had been shipped and in fact was in Houston waiting on a truck to take it to Tommie Vaughn Ford. Whew! I don't know what to think. David said I should take delivery no later than Friday. I hope this latest information is accurate but I'm not getting my hopes up to high.
