So after hearing absoluely nothing from my dealer regarding dates or status, I called the Ford Customer Service Center. According to them, my car has been in transit and is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer at some point TODAY. As excited as I want to be, I'm trying not to let myself get carried away because I highly doubt my car will arrive when they say it will.

For those of you lucky enough to already have yours, how long after the scheduled date did your dealer actually receive your car??

 

I was never given an actual date.. my dealer called me and said my status changed to shipped, and then exactly a week later my car was here.

 

Hey Strider, Please let me know if your car is actually in. I would love to swing by Island Ford after work to worship it. I have yet to see a stang in person.

My dealer could only tell me an ETA of 10/30 2 weeks ago. Ford customer service told me last week that my car has been released to the carrier, and that the arrival date range was 10/27 to 11/03. I may call them this week for an update, since the dealer hasn't had the most up to date info.

 

I ordered mine on 6/5. The first week of September my dealer said that the car would be here the middle of October. The sales manager maintained that date until October 18th when he told me the car was on temp delay.

I demanded the VIN last Saturday. The sales manager told me he would call me with it on Monday. I called and left him a message yesterday asking for information.

My goal is to escalate to the GM by Friday if I have not gotten a response. Should be entertaining.

According to my dealer, they were scheduled to receive it back on the 12th of October, still haven't received it yet. They say it is at the mixing yard and should be here any day now. They were scheduled to receive 5 on the same day, they received 3 V6's this past Thursday. So mine should be here soon.

 

My status was shipped to Convoy with no ETA on 10/2. It showed up on 10/19. There was never a ETA. Good Luck, I know you are excited.
