The 2005 Mustang has a fat rear end with a long overhang. You need to spend some time looking at the car, not pictures, to decide what tires to put onto it. I'm worried that putting the biggest tires on the back will give the car a drag racer (perpetual panic stop) look. If that's what you like, cool.
Increasing grip on one end will affect the carefully crafted ballance of the car. Again, if that's what you like, then do it.
The short answer: Wear out the stockers before worring about replaceemtns. :drive:

I have a question. It is sorta based on this subject... I just didn't want to start a whole new thread for this, but I've never driven a real-wheel drive car with ABS. My questin is how do you spin the back tires? If you put the brakes on, and punch the accel. pedal, isn't that gonna hurt the rear brakes? Is there anyway to lock the front wheel and spin the rear tire if I ever wanna do a burnout?
