You cannot order them from the factory, but Ford does make them, and you can probably have the dealership order them and put them on at delivery, which means that you can include the price of them in financing. I am not sure how the pricing will work out replacing the normal bullits with them though.

When you place your order, have the dealership add painting of the stock bullits black. First, check with a couple local body shops to get an idea what they would charge you.

The dark charcoal bullitts offer a suttle contrast to a black Mustang. That contrast would be lost with black wheels and the different center cap.

Thanks guys. The sales manager I am working with knows a lot of aftermarket companies locally that can help me mod the mustang, so I am quite sure this will be no problem. I will probably just order the black ones and have them mounted upon delivery, and hopefully he will just make me pay the difference for the black ones.

Jewls..... are you sure you want 17's instead of 18's? I thought I read one of Brad's posts earlier that 18" bullitts will be available for '06 models

Kevin, I don't want to wait that long for chrome bullitts, I want the black ones, and have already purchased spinners for them.

Yeah, the ford accessory catalog has the black ones as posted above, they are nice and not fully black because of the lip which makes them look good and not ghetto if ya know what I mean .

Why wait?
Partshopper (a TMS sponsor) has 18x9 black or chrome Bullitts now.

Do the spinner knockoffs fit those though? She said she already ordered the spinners for them...

Or were you referring to the fact that 18x9s are currently available?

Just that 18x9's were available. As far as I know, the spinners won't work on these wheels. I have the FR500's made by the same company and the the '04 pony center caps fit perfectly so the '05 spinners probably won't. However, MustangTuning sells some they say will fit. (they sell those wheels too.)

Thanks guys. Yes, I already bought the spinner caps, but they are now on ebay, because I ended up with the optional 17" on my 05. If I had the opportunity to order an 06, I would have gotten 17 inch black bullitts financed into my order. I like the optionals better on the redfire, but still want to go aftermarket.

Thanks Steve. Like I said, I would have liked to have a black on black 06, but things happen that are beyond your control. Considering the circumstances, I am very lucky to not only be alive and well, but lots of people still don't have a mustang, and I was able to find one in a matter of hours, plus get a great deal to boot. I am over the "why me" stage, and now just very thankful. I am still anxious to see this idiot fry in court though!

You know what, Your'e right. I like your " i see the glass half full philosophy". Sometimes things work in mysterious ways. The way i see it. You were destined to get a redfire GT thru this accident. If it wasn;t for it, you wouldnt have gotten the gt that you're getting now.
Forget about the guy who hit you for now, you guys focus on enjoying the Stang. That's all that matters.

Thanks Steve. It's hard not to think about the accident, but this time tomorrow I will be on cloud nine driving my new GT! I already have some mods to put on tomorrow, and will be stopping by Pep Boys in the morning.
