in 1-5-20-50 years, the S197 will still be a cool car... the car just has 'classic' written all over it. I hope ford outdoes the 05 with the '15, but thats a tough bill to fill, modernizing, yet getting a long term classic styling (heck I hope they outdo the 'my favorite' 69 styling with the '15!).

not to knock the mustangII, but remember when it was car of the year? it was a great seller then, but kinda faded into oblivion for the most part- I just cannot ever picture this occurring with the S197... long term, will be as loved as the early fastbacks IMHO

I agree about the S197 being a Classic! I'm so glad I came to my senses!

I was in the same boat when I sold my 94' gt. I regret it so much. Was a great car. Now I have an 05' and I can't part with her.

I daily mine as well. Can't wait to mod it some more. It's so nice to be a mustang owner again. I was devastated when I sold my 94. I still miss it. But the enjoyment of owning another one carries on. Glad you decided to keep yours!

Thank you so much! I am wanting to do more mods to mine as well. I just had an Injector issue so that was an expensive fix...but I did get a shorty antenna and Stack Racing Throttle Spacer last week. I want a Chrome Strut Tower Brace next but American Muscle's are out of stock at the moment.
