Time to boot my Mustang.
Time to boot my Mustang.
To the driveway that is!
Angelina is no longer the garage queen now that a new tenant has moved in.

The wife finally got the convertible she's been wanting, her 2011 Porsche Boxster S!
It was between that and the SLK 350. She really wanted a hardtop convertible with the manual trans but Benz wasn't offering it in a stick just paddle shifters. So she settled, yeah I know pity pity lol! Plus coming from an RX8 it had to handle like it was on rails which I must say her RX8 did. It just needed the power boost that the Boxster S and Benz offer.
Yes we like the color BLUE!

I would definitely boot mine to the driveway as well for the Boxster! That car has come sooooo far in since its debut
Next car for us will also be Euro.
I don't think she settled at all...settling would have been going for the Benz, IMHO. The SLK design is long in the tooth, not worth it unless you're getting the SLK 55, and the overall feel is an older woman's car for those not really interested in the driving experience. Just my take! She definitely made the right choice.
And talk about an upgrade from the RX8. I know the engine is unique and suspension is great, but it sure gets atrocious gas mileage and power numbers.

As for the SLK it would have been a AMG but again no stick shift, just paddleshifters. It had to be stick or she wasn't having it. Tomorrow we get the clear bra put on, something I wish I would have done to my stang when I first bought her. Hind sight 20/20 as they say. Thanks!
AMEN, sounds like experience talking! lol
She just told me I would be outside before the boxster, lol
Absolutely!
