Tigger05's First Race
I have hosted a video for Tigger05 (Beckie).
From what she has told me, this was her first race. Fortunately, someone in the stands was videoing things for her and made this compilation. From what she told me, she did pretty good, especially for her first time racing.

The first car was Mustang Cobra 2003 - the car was owned by JBA Racing in San Diego (and tricked out). I ran a 10.76 and the Cobra did a 7.6 (disqualified due to reaction time of .3), but man the car was fast.
My best time was a 10.00 out of 4 runs. I talked to someone yesterday who said they did 9.6 with a stock GT (like mine).

doin consistant sub-8.6 in mine if i remember correctly, but some minor mods

Glad I could help and host it for you.
After my first day I was dead tired. I used up all my adrenalin after 6 runs in 2 hours.
But addictive is right. I will be back next month at the event. And my parents are coming to visit from VA as well. My dad is a car buff. So he will enjoy the racing.

WOW..........that looks like FUN. I raced my 2000 Special Edition Mercury Cougar a few years back, but I would lOVE to race my 2005 mustang GT.
I wish I knew somewhere around here to do it. Anyone know a place in St. Louis....Midway in Wentzville I heard doesnt do it anymore.

I am not sure what the song is....another Mustang club member did the taping. I didn't know he was doing it...but he did the music also. I can ask him.
Wow, you raced your special edition Cougar, wahoo!!! I won't race my '69 Cougar, but I am taking it out on a road track in a couple weeks.
I hope you find someplace you can give it a shot. I almost forgot to shift into 2nd, lol!
