Throttle Troubles

A few hours ago my 05 GT went in to failsafe mode. It threw codes 2106, 2111, 2112, 2135 which all seem to deal with the throttle actuator/sensors. Anyone experience this before? Any help would be appreciated.

It drove fine all day yesterday then went into failsafe mode for the first time in the afternoon. I drove in failsafe mode to my parents since they were near my location. I ran the codes and got 2106 and 2135. I cleared the codes and unplugged and replugged the throttle postion sensor thinking it might have come loose. The car started and drove fine two consecutive times with no codes. The third time i tried to start it, it went into failsafe mode and the motor would turn over but not start. I flashed it to stock. It started up and stayed in failsafe mode and had the previous codes, plus 2111 and 2112.

As for my mods, i have been running a MAC Cai with Brenspeed tunes for over a year, and put an o/r h pipe on and had brenspeed turn off my o2 sensors over a month ago.

Any ideas?.......i'm stuck driving my 92 Camaro RS......HELP!

You are still under warranty, flash it back to stock and take the car to the dealership. I went through the exact same thing, same codes, same failsafe mode.

My car would not start at times. Sometimes it would run fine for one week and then one day it would have trouble starting or would shut off on me.

I had it in the dealership three times. The first two times, the stupid dealership couldn't duplicate the problem so they couldn't do anything, even though I clearly gave them the codes and told them that it has to be the throttlebody. The third time, the car wouldn't start, so I took my CAI off and flashed back to stock, the codes were still in the system, so I called a tow truck and had it towed directly to the dealership (it was on their dime, since I was still covered under warranty). Anyway, they changed the whole throttlebody assembly about six to seven weeks back and I have not had a problem since.

You are not the only person to have this problem, in the warranty forum, I posted a thread similar to yours and plenty of other people came up with the same issue.

Thanks for the reply. I've taken it into the dealer before with no problems, but that was before i installed a shaker hood scoop. You think they will give me any crap about that?........should i take it in with that on......or with a big hole in the hood?
