couldnt find the original thread about the calibration, but found this one...had saved a link.

when I first read this, sounded like- yeah riiiight...but it made my off idle 'numb pedal' disappear completely- was as if a bunch of slack was taken out of the linkage(which dont exist of course).

but the very next post in that forum says it does nothing...

I have noticed this throttle lag in my 07' GT/CS Vert...it has been driving me nuts...I feel like I have to rock to get it to move faster, or just step on the gas. I drove the 4cylinder Ford Fusion as a rental car while mine was in the shop, and I felt like I was driving a race car when it comes to acceleration compared to my mustang, the dealership said that this is how they all the stangs are.

Had it in both my old 05 auto and the 06 manual (to a lesser degree), even with the S/C running Saleen's stock tune. (which I found embarassing as hell)

Get a custom tune - with my dyno tune from Justin at VMP, you touch the pedal in any gear and she runs

I have noticed it in mine, and I have had a little experiance with high powered cars before. Not much but enough to know when its slow on the uptake. Things like this make me really want to go ahead with the CAI/Tune before I have researced it fully.

Works For Me

The procedure described in the link has worked great for me since I took delivery of my baby.

She also shifts crisper afterwards.

She needs to be recalibrated about every 2 months or so.
