Somehow I suspect the dealership will laugh at you if take the car in for that. First thing they'll tell you they want to do is re-create the problem and there's no way dealership management is gonna mandate one of their tech's taking a 120mph test drive!
Maybe you should consider acquiring a set of hood pins if you're planning on running her at those speeds!

You do not need hood pins to maintain a stable hood.
The hood bumpers in the corners of your hood need adjustment. Take it back to the dealer, and simply tell them that the hood shakes at highway speeds. Let them deal with it; and if they do nothing - take it to a body shop that can help you out [if you don't do it yourself].

If you're going to be doing those speeds regularly then you might want to invest in hood pins.
Quick story: A couple of us went to Carlisle PA last year and on the way back home there was this open stretch of highway with only cars behind me so I opened her up. The highway was on a downward slope so as I was gunning her down the highway (watching that hood shake like crazy) the hood popped open but thankfully the latch caught and saved me a lot of $$$ and trouble! So just be mindful of it.

I find this strange, a lot of people have complained about this issue. I have driven 120mph twice with my 05. Both times were for just a couple of seconds and then slowed down. The hood, along with the car, were solid as a rock.

hood pins would give you a warm feeling at 120 plus speeds. I would atleast check the hood bumpers also. My hood is fine at 120. With your hood closed all the way push down on the front corners if it goes down adjust the bumpers up.

forgot to mention
that it was a very windy day,on a regular no wind ,sunny day i bring it up to 140 with no problems. i guess i was getting to much wind under the hood. or my car was telling me it's time for a s/c

i'm goint to invest in some hood pins, probably shelby, along with their replacemnt radiator cover once I start hitting the bigger, faster road coarses, just as a safety measure.. you never know when you'll leave the track at highspeed and if the hood comes loose i'd rather have pins catch it than the windshield.
OH YEA... I've never had a hood shake issue, but then again the only time i'd even get to over 80 would be on a track.

We should start a poll of who has driven their car over various speeds.
I have been above the century mark numberous times but only on a straight section of highway with on other cars in sight. Does that make it OK, no! I'm not telling anyone else to do it either.

Hmmm, take it to the dealer and let some idiot mess with the car vs taking 30 seconds and turn bumpers yourself. Not a hard decision. I drive 130mph+ all the time and yes, I had the hood shake issue. Tightened the bumper and no more shaking.
And I'm in Germany before anyone starts flogging me...![Stickpoke](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/stickpoke.gif)

My buddy says his Lambo goes 180.
I wouldn't know.
I've only ridden in it at 160.
He has driven at over 100mph for 40+ years.
He has never "Lost Control".

I had the car up to 145+ mph saturday and at those speeds the hood looked like it was going to rip off the car. Now I know why the GT500 has heat extractors on it, they probably are there to release air pressure from under the hood..
(the upside is that the yellow C6 vette got whooped 3 times in a row by my little stang)
