Thinking of selling the 07 Stang

Hi all, I have been thinking about selling my 07 Foose and getting a 08 GT500. I have always had a GT Stang, as is my current 07 Foose, and would like to move up to a SVT version, as I never had one. There nothing wrong with my Foose and it might even be a collectible as Unique Performance is out of business/in jail so there wont be any more Foose Mustangs or it might not mean a thing and just be another "mod'd" Stang. I just keep having thoughts of GT500. So what do you think? Thanks...

If you're happy with your current car the way it is, I see no reason to change. You have a very unique car.

Hard choice. IMO, the Foose would seem like more of a collectible/show car. I would be afraid to mod it and take away from what it already is. I think of the GT500 as less of a collectibe, and a car that I would be more likely to mod to my own tastes.

ESPECIALLY after that Unqiue Performance debacle

I think those cars became a heck of a lot more rare and collectable after that

What would be the financial impact of this change?

I say keep it.
The only reason to go to the GT500 IMHO would be the power difference, and it would be cheaper just to add a blower to the Foose.

However, I think the Foose looks better and will be much more rare, so that effects my opinion.

I agree. Therefore if it was me. I like power way more than collector status so I would sell it for the gt500 and use any extra left over for MODS!!!!

07Foose if you get into a wreck, how do you get parts for your car now? I would like Foose rocker panels and know of no way to get them, and now that Unique is debunk, how will you replace parts as needed?

The Foose is very...unique indeed, sorry for the pun but if I had a choice it would be GT500.

Keep the foose and supercharge it if you want the extra power is my opinion. The foose is a much more rare and unique car now, there will always be more GT500's.

Send a piece of the Foose dash to Shelby and have him sign it, Then you'll have a Foose/Shelby, a one of a kind. Buy whatever makes you happy. I'd be happy with either.

Well I haven't posted it yet as its not fixed but it took some damage, some one kicked up a chunk of retread and it hit the lower part of the bumper. Foose made the parts or had them made and then they were shipped to Unique performance. So parts are available, both purchase and warranty. All the parts to fix the bumper came in yesterday and it will be fixed next week. The Roush heat exchanger was damaged, doesn't leak though, so insurance is paying for a new one, Roush wants $653 for it lol, I upgraded to the Steeda heat exchanger, a lot larger than the Roush.

To keep it or get GT500 is still undecided but the dealer has one on the way and should be in in about 3 weeks. So I will decide at that point.

One more vote for the GT500.

Ask yourself one question. Do you want a car as a collectible or for drive-ability? This should help you decide between the two.
