Another wounded pony (56k users beware)

Well headed home on I-5 north its wet heavy traffic I'm doing 55, guy in lane next to me in a white Neon changes lanes into me. He bumped my PS rear quarter and caused me to spin out I ended up doing 2 360s, through heavy traffic mind you, I managed to not get hit or hit anyone.... amazing luck I tell ya. However I ended up pointing the wrong way and ramming backwards into the jersey barrier, crunched up the PS quarter pretty bad, I was not hurt nor was anyone else just my baby

Bad news - The guy in the Neon didn't stop and no one was able to get his plate#.

Good news - My insurance treated it as a uninsured motorist/no fault they did not up my rates, I have Farmers for those interested.

Here are the pic before/during/after body shop, Bill Pierre Ford did the work here in the Seattle area, they also sold me the car, the work was outstanding! I had the Shelby stripes painted on (looks so much better than vinyl stripes) added the duck tail and the CDC hood scoop.

Yep - Looks like they did a really nice job getting you on the road again...

And I can't get over how green everything looks - what kind of weather do you get in Seattle this time of year? I hate Indiana. I hate winter.

Glad you are ok.

Besides having the work done by one of our competitors, the repairs and stripes look like a great job.

(People in Seattle who own white Neons are either a teenager, an immigrant or a combination of the two. Shame no one got the license plate.)

That's the reason we're called the Emerald City.
This time of year, we mostly get rain with the occasional rain break, followed by a few days of mist. Weekends are generally showers along with mixed precipitation (ie slush). Oh, did I mention that if we are REAL lucky we can have up to five hours of heavy blustery wind accompanied by light rain. I'd rather be in Indiana right now.

Just remember....the Neon driver will pay for what he did.......maybe not today or tomorrow, but he will pay someday.

I also sincerely hope it does. Karma can be a female dog!

Considering the road conditions, it could have been much worse. Glad you're okay.

They did a nice job, can't tell anything happened just by looking.

I agree, the Neon guy will probably screw up again. He'll get his. The important thing is that he didn't screw your life up permanently.

Well ok I dont keep my wife in the garage, well not very often

Thanks for all the great comments, that whole experience really made me respect the crash ratings that the 05 and up Mustangs have as I barely felt the impact. I was quite surprised at the amount of damage once I got out of the car.
