Thinking about buying a Mustang...
#1
Well, my 10-year-old Honda Civic LX Sedan is about to hit the crapper. It vibrates violently on the freeway, engine knocks violently everytime I slow down and begin to accelerate, and has over 80,000 miles on it. I just don't have the will to pour money into the damned thing anymore even though I own it free and clear. I wish I never bought it, anyway - it's the ugliest color combo (green w/tan interior) and it's slow as heck with only 106 horsepower. Well, at least I know what I DON'T like!
I'm finally planning on buying my new '06 Mustang in a couple months (sooner if things don't go so well with my current car). So, I've decided to begin my research. I know I won't be happy with anything less than a GT w/bullits w/IUP + Shaker 500 + Active Anti-Theft system. Just have to decide between Black on black or Vista Blue on black. Tough decision!

but nothing beats a clean black car!
It's really hard to get other people to decide color for you, in the end you'll get what you wanted anyway if that makes sense.
good luck with your new mustang and welcome to TMS

I thought all hondas went 300000 miles with no problems and looked just like new
Congrats on deciding to move up to a Mustang! Just go out and look at a few and see what you think.

Ok,
If you only got 80,000 miles on a 10 year old civic, you better expect 40,000 miles on a Mustang then. Did you ever change the oil. I don't understand why such low miles? Do the rotors need turning? Maybe new set of tires? Did you buy the car new or used. Anyway, I'd go VB also. That makes less WB on the road then.

If you are of sound mind, your mental health is good, go with black! A black car is not for the weak-(clean)-I LOVE THIS CAR-(dirty, 5 min. after washing)-I HATE THIS CAR... over and over and over! The blue is nice, but black looks soooo cool.

Black is beautiful. But it's HIGH MAINTENANCE. I've had three black cars I always say never again (after the last one LOL) But there isn't a bad color for the new Mustangs. I wanted something subtle (Gray or Legend Lime) originally, but when I saw it in Torch/Colorado Red it was a done deal!

Oh, and get the black with the red leather and 18" bullitts
Although I have had 5 black sports cars and they will make you manic. I went back to red again because it looks like an old mustang and bright red weathers wear, scuffs, and swirls very well.
