You can, if you modify the bottom of the "plug".

When I'm driving in an area with different radio stations than my home area I like how I can have the radio search for stations based upon genre. I can have it search for only rock stations, hip hop, classical, country etc.. LOVE that feature!

I just found this out the other day, if you put a lighter down the filler tube, the car makes a big boom. Quite entertaining.

Really? I did not know this. how?

Id like to add the RDS feature, I dont think its in the book.

Hold menu down for 3-5 seconds and the RDS on/off feature can be enabled. off by default, this gives you the artist/name of the song playing on most FM stations.

Your car has it. You just have to find a tech intelligent enough to know how to find it and turn it back on.
My build date was 2/28/05 and I had mine reactivated about a year ago.
This thread has all the details. I kept the first post updated:

I have to have the radio in front of me to remember what buttons to push. Car's home so I'll post up after work.

Sure enough....it worked. But you have to stand real close for it to work.
I'll prob never use it again after yesterday.
Everyones pretty sick of me now saying....hey check this out lolol.

It's all in that first post in the link I posted. Dealers, phone numbers, even the procedure for the tech to follow.

I like suprising people with it. Especially when they're looking my car over.
It also shocks salesmen and other Mustang owners. (especially the '06 guys)
Very few people know anything about it.
