I can appreciate the fact that previous years GT owners were after Ford to create a distinct look between the Mustang GT & the Mustang Coupe, this is an understandable desire. However what I cannot understand is if body side mouldings (door) can be but on a GT at the factory why could these door mouldings not be put on the coupe. Does Ford think that only the GT's will be subjected to door dings by other car owners and shopping carts? I have ordered the P3 Mouldings for my Mustang Coupe cost with installation is about $125.00 in Canadian dollars, surely auto alliance could have installed this item for a cheaper cost, its not like I want GT Fog lamps or GT badging. Hmmmmm wonder if someone did not have there coffee at the factory when they were determining the distinction class between the two models?

The Canadian Ford web site build & price shows that the bodyside moldings are an optional feature ($95) on the V6 and the GT.

According to the US order guide for '05 and '06, the body side moldings are a Fleet only option for all body types.

Canada has always had them as options on the stang (V6+GT)

They are NOT standard on any configuration
