While driving home from work, I noticed that the vol / push writing on my shaker 1000 doesn't light up like the rest. Is this normal or does it need to be fixed? Never even noticed until today.

edit: the time being zero dark thirty, had the headlights on.

It does not light up. You could point a flashlight at it if that makes your feel better

What do you think of the Shaker 1000, wyld? Or any of you that have it? I thought it sounded good from the very brief time I heard it beside a 500 system. I need a good windows down, cruising down the road on a sunny afternoon to type of test run to see if I approve when my Pony comes in.

Surf, strange she hasn't mentioned you

:jedi:

Pal,
Haven't had a good chance for a long Sunday drive, weather here has been junk. My boss said it's loud, turned it up rolling into the parking lot. He came out of the building to see where the music was coming from.

Took him for a spin, scared him so much he almost wet himself

The shaker has good sound, lots of bass for a factory system. I'm no expert but know what I like.

Have to get some decent days to really see what she can do... B)

That's the ticket man. I can't wait to get in mine. I just don't know when that'll be, darnit! lol Some people say it has too much bass. I don't listen to much rap, but I'm sure you can adjust the bass levels of the woofers to have a nice smooth bassy sound also. Hmm, maybe you can give me some input on that. Thanks again!

You find me a sunny afternoon warm enough to put the windows down in Maryland this time of year and I'll let you know....

rap is just missing the C

You can adjust the bass up and down, even turn the shaker off to standard stero mode. I listen to 70's & 80's rock mostly with a little country now and then. With the shaker you notice the bass more in some songs then normal, because of the enhancement thru the subs. You can also adjust it for all speakers, rear or driver positions, don't know what this really does...but me thinks it directs more sound from one side then the other
