Unhappy

Well, after inspecting my car AGAIN before pick up I noticed that inside the gas door(on the right of the gas cap) the paint is VERY thin to the point to where there is only a light metalic blue color  . Thankfully my car has no orange peel to speak of. Anyone elses 2006 have one of these issues?

"inside the gas lid"

Just make sure to keep your gas lid closed at the car shows.

Are you sure your Mustang was built by Ford?

I know it's odd but there is no orange peel to my paint and the car except for the inside of the gas door has a thick layer or paint on her. even under the hood, go figure

My 06 is sitting at the dealership...I have inspected it twice...no apparent thin paint issues..checked inside the fuel door & under the hood, both looked good. It does have some orange peel..most evident on the rear trunk lid. Not too bad, but it's there. It goes into the bodyshop on Monday for painted stripes..won't be picking it up until Friday..going to be a long week

No thin pain or orange peel, but I found a small bubble in the paint. The dealer is going to fix, but I'll be without my car for a day  .

 Are you being serious? I mean firstly, CONGRATS on the car!

Secondly...INSIDE the gas cap? Who cares about that area?!

Unless its really bothering you, I don't see an issue.

I realize it's not a big deal I just don't want a non painted area to rust.
