So no one remembers the FIRST time Toyota ripped off the Mustang? Looks like a 69 or 70 Mustang to me. Oh wait, it's a Celica.

the Miatastang is a great spin on a classic. "Tastefully done" IMO.

the 1976 Celica was a even closer in design to the 1969 Mustang

Why do you think it was referred to as the "Japanese Ponycar"

yeah, the Celica does look a lot lot like the 69's. The Miatastang didnt look that bad, but it's no Mustang.
