Thankgodthankgodthankgod the arrow doesn't light up. I was concerned with that awhile back when I saw the arrow lit in one of the "old" pics.

They must have decided to turn it off.

Exactly..!
If you need a light to tell you when to shift gears then you should probably be looking for a shifer with a D and a P on it also

My 05 GT stick has no such visible "arrow", no matter where I shift ! :bang:

Shifting 101


When the needle hits the red area this is when you are "supposed" to shift.

I have learned that if you shift befor the RED area, you don't go as fast...

Your lucky, it would drive me insane. With the small tank (16 gallons) on the new Mustang, it seems like the "low on gas" message is always displayed, LOL. Some of the messages are pretty neat though!

:scratch: So where is the arrow on the instrument cluster that lights up, telling you when you are supposed to apply the brakes to avoid hitting the car infront of ya. I could swear I saw it on a demo. It was below the 3k on the RPM. it looked like a stop sign.
