Are there any "young" people going for a '05?

you never appreciate things the same way until u busted ur hiney and earned it
u can never say its your car.. its daddy's car..you just drive it.
the feeling of earning it over whining for it..you can hold you head that much higher
theres a 19 yr old around that drives his porsche SUV like he earned it ..never worked a day..loser

Is there anyone else out there who has been driving the same car for the past 10 years? I went to my 5 year highschool reunion and everyone recognized me, I was driving the same car I had when I turned 16! And it still has the quadrasonic 8-track player!

I'll be 21 in February, and I plan to buy an '05 GT when the incentives/rebates start coming out. I've been tempted to just forget the wait and get a '05 V6 now, but I'd be disappointed with that decision in the end.

I'm 21 and have an '05 GT Satin Silver with Red Leather interior on order. It was suppose to be in on the 12th, so they are a little late. Any day now. My dad and I restored a '68 with a 302, it has about 325 ponys, 4-speed, 3.55s. So I'm eager to see how my '05 will stack up against it.

Way to judge me, I work my hiney off in school, and you have no idea who I am either. I believe I said someone would say something like this on the first or second page of this thread. How about busting my hiney to get into Boston College, is that good enough for you? I know a lot of spoiled rich kids get nice cars but I consider myself fortunate to be in my situation. Yes I am spoiled, doesn't mean I don't appreciate it. Hey at least I'm not getting a Honda and ricing it out.

Like jcopin said "you can never say its your car .. its daddy's car .. you just drive it." Which is the truth. It's NOT your car, it's your dad's. Everything is in his name, NOT yours.

that's not always true though. I had friends in High School that paid their own car payments but a parent had to sign the contract cause at 17 you basiclly have no credit. Never putting a dime down for your car and it not being under your name can be two wildy different things
