Ask and you shall receive The hood is VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Extreme Heat Extractor. Not sure they call it that now though. The vents are open to allow the heat to escape just like the '03/04 Cobras. In fact the the hood inserts on my hood are the same ones. Hood didn't come with them they had screens covering the openings. I bought them after checking the openings with my sons Cobra inserts.

before i read your post and saw that they were heat extractors, my eyes played tricks on me and i thought they were two scoops rising UP on top of the hood
the paint fumes are gettin to me..

Hey, I just found out about this site and joined right up. I have a 2009 Pony; for performance I have gone with Magnaflow Dual exhaust, Cervini's Concept Hood and RAM Air system and an SCT Tuner (for now). Then the pretty stuff; I went with the Saleen Quarter Window Louver-thingys, Black Billet Fuel door and all sorts of shiny things under the hood including the Cervini Hood Struts, and shiny things for the interior. I am looking forward to picking up some Tips etc.

Here's the major transformation for one of mine. The kicker is that it all happened within 2 months. Didn't even bother to take better "before" pics because it was in my garage for about a week before it spent almost a month at the body shop...
