Thank you...I have a lot of friend...together we started our own club.
This was my 69 Mach 1, it was the inspiration for the new version.
Thanks for looking!

I had a 68 Shelby that was local all its life. I did a "preservation" restoration on it...then someone from washington state wanted it more than me.
The lost 68 GT 500 with a 428 Interceptor.

After the Shelby went down the road I really liked this Mach. It was in a museum in Louisanna. Kept it for 3 years and sold it...ON FLEABAY! The listing ended with the reserve NOT met, and I had three people coming to buy it.
The guy that purchased the car worked for a Ford dealership who purchased it to put in the show room next to the new S197 Stangs.
3 floors in this dealership, and one just for mustangs. After the Mach was sold I had an 02 Vic Sport, all the time looking for "this car" which is exactly how I would have ordered it.
None of my friends in the club knew about this 05 Mustang. I kept the purchase and the conversion hidden until our big 24th anniversary cruise/show in May, a show that I started in 1983...a year after high school.
Needless to say, this car was a hit!

Derek, that ride looks fantastic, and I love the shirt when you're picking up the car, I just hope that's not a UNC hat. Where did you get the seats done?
