I've had my stripes for almost a year now...LOL! I just haven't gotten around to getting them installed.

I'm a DIY kinda guy, but not when it comes to vinyl! I can't even line up a decal on my window...LOL!

It did present some challenges and I am sure my Insurance company would agree with you on the kit part, the first question was: "Does a Supercharger make the car go faster?" Answer for the Insurance Company: "It helps the car perform more efficiently".
