I enjoyed reading that one.........
"The Mustang's V-8 growls with a ferocious sneer, part hoary eight-cylinder burble and part present-day howl. People ask whether there's a HEMI under the hood of a 300C - but they know at the blip of the throttle that yours is a Mustang with pony cojones."
LOL.

Nice review, the writer knows where to place the Mustang.
Just noticing, it's yet another one commenting on gear noise. You fortunate b*stards that have one, do you think it's unnecessary loud?

There is some gear whine.
I think that if you wanted a quiet, peaceful luxury ride, this car isn't for you. There is a slight gear whine that is noticeable on deceleration. The exhaust is quiet on the freeway until you get to about 80+, where it starts to growl again. High speed cruising is fine if you like to know you are in a performance car.
Poseurs who want the performance on paper, but want it to be an Oldsmobile to the senses, need not apply. This car reminds you, intentionally or not, that it has power and intends to use it.
