Hey, I just wanted to throw out a thread to thank kevin and all the guys with a little inside scoop. They don't have to share the info that they have and it sure is cool to get a the upper hand when it comes time to "make your deal". I live in Pasadena, CA and ordered my car recently through a "back home" dealer in Texas and the info that I was able to glean from this site came in handy. I secured a deal to get the car for $5oo over invoice. The salesman is a friend of the family and he's gonna have the car shipped to Cali from the factory for me to pick up. The info supplied freely and in good-faith by the posters on this site is a real breathe of fresh air I just wish that there wasn't so much "newbie-bashing". It makes the new guy feel uncomfortable about posting.

Nice deal! That's something considering the fears by many that some dealers will try to push them for above retail.

For Kevin and any others who work for the dark side (kidding) that give great insider info without trying to peddle stuff.

I haven't been as active on this board over the last month but I didn't realize there was that much newb bashing going on.

welcome to the boards. there has been some bashing especially if they made a mistake and asked a question that was already asked. i think the addition on the forum entry screen is a nice addition telling them to read the FAQ first
