How'd you remove them so easily?
They peel right off. There's virtually no residue. I washed it afterwards, and it's spotless. I just used my thumbnail to get the edges started. The letters take the most time, as they don't come off smoothly (inserts in spaces of letters).

Nice move! Did the same thing to mine. In fact, mine may have been the one you saw on here.

Your Car Looks Extremely nice and neet !

It WAS your car. I saved the pic to show my wife and kids. My son and I liked the look, the wife and daughter liked the stripe. Your pics are AWESOME and were the deciding factor. How were you able to post such large pics on your posts? When I tried, I had to reduce the pics to 200K or less.

Looks great! The first time I saw the stripes for the V6 they screamed JC WHITNEY!!
However...
My car came without stripes and I ordered and installed black Shelby style rocker stripes (with no script of any kind) from autothing.com-I will post pics when Trudi is clean!

Much nicer without. Good thing you did it before any oxidation or residue developed that would show where they had been! Too bad you had to pay for them to begin with, though.

Are we talking about the 4" stripe down the side?
I found this picture under stripes in the forum.
If so I think they rock big time.

Hey, that's my car

If stripes are left on for years you don't have to worry about oxidization. You just use a hair dryer to remove the stripes and then polish the car. You would never know there was a stripe on it.

Your cars look great but I for one added stripes onto my car because I do find them a bit plain without them, also too many around without any mods.
