Yeah, I know, it's a strange and almost pointless question, I was just curious. As most everyone knows, ever since '79 the Mustang has been known for small back seats and small glove boxes. The thing is so small the owner's manul doesn't even fit very well. With all the improvements the '05 has, did they make a useable glove box?

No, it's still pretty much useless. The owner's manual fits, but barely.

Ya know, I've been in the '05's several times and never even noticed it. Does anyone happen to have a pic?

I remember how tiny the Fox glove compartments were, they couldnt fit much more than a comb and the hatch/gas door buttons

here you go...

One empty, and one with the owners manual in the case Ford gives you. You have to place it above the latch to get it to fit.

If you're wondering, there is no light.

Hey, it's small, but at least it looks good. I'm glad it's more under-the-dash rather than in-the-dash below the glove box. Let's face it, none of us bought this car for it's practicality, not unless you call 300 H.P.'s practical!

I never really put anything (other than owner's manual, service receipts, etc.) in there anyway, so it's no big deal.

Looks the exact size of my 03... too small. Guess I'll have to cancel my order.

I guess we don't have an interior trunk release because the glove box was too small!

Fuggedabout the glovebox- thats where I keep my car stuff.

The center console fits a full makeup case, brush, altiods, gum, cd cases and room to spare.

The second cupholder holds lipstick!

What else could you possibly need?

April, I dont know what kind of center console you got, but, mine doesnt hold all of that. Mine holds about 6 cd cases, bottle of perfume, and maybe some pens. Because of the power outlet, if I have my phone plugged in, it really cuts down on space.

I use my back seat if I need to store anything,

REALLY annoyed about the lack of trunk release inside the vehicle. Yes, I locked my keys in my trunk... so, there I was, late for work... Climbing into my trunk via the back seat. Although, I gotta say, I am not a petite little thing, and while it was annoying, it wasnt difficult!

My backseat is a CD wasteland..

Its a small cosmetic case, and I put my empty Cd cases in there. Round Sour Apple Altiods, one pen, a lighter, a pack of cigarettes, my warm day hair brush and it fits packed up.

I hate no trunk release its a huge PITA especially if I am in the car doing something and have to go back inside for the keys if I need in the trunk.
