Anyone here have a guide or picture how to complete remove the backrest from the 2005 convertible. ( not flip it to horizontal only )

If you're referring to the headrest on the front seats? Once you raise them to the highest position, you then take a small pin, like a safety pin and insert into the small opening, while at the same time pushing in the release lever on the opposite side... You should then be able to completely remove the seat headrest... If however, you're not referring to the front seat headrests? Then I'm not quite sure as to what you're referring to as in backrest.
