Okay here are my rather stupid questions.

1. Any good guesses on when the 2006' model will be released? Cause i'll be buying next summer and you know... wanna know if and how long I could wait before buying for the previosly discussed reasons.

2. Do we know if the colors rotate each model year, and if so how many are likely to move around?

 

New models are almost always released in mid-October I think.

I'd count on 2-4 new colors every year.

 

Ok... happy about the colors not about the releases.

Wonder what we will be seeing at the late season auto shows? 2005 Vert and 06' coupe? Probably not? I just want to see the 06' before I buy 05'.

 

Someone said on the forum here that 05 production ends June 30, 06 production starts July 1.

 

I always thought it was ~end of July-beginning of August, but then again, there are 05 Escapes on lots now, so I guess its different from model to model.

 

I started a topic on that a week or so ago. Can't remeber the name of the thread though..

 

you're right...september is usually a good month to see a model year start appearing on lots...but sometimes even august.

I'm not sure they'd show the 06 until next year...why show the next model when u just barely pushed the predecessor out the door?
