Since we are so close, I was thinking that it sure would be nice if Ford would give us some press coverage (photos, vids) of the first 05 Mustangs coming off the line on Sept. 7th. This would give us something to drool over until we can see them in lots in October. Heck, just a shot of a bunch of them in the plant lot right after they roll off the line would get me excited. Thanks!

I'm sure they'll have something for it. Almost positive there will be something locally... since Ford is everywhere here and that Flat Rock is a downriver city (part of a community of cities that I live in) they'll have something in the local paper and news station about it.

the soonest thing we'll get are more reviews, pics, and maybe some vids on people from near innovation drives.
Oh and the roush debut in sep 1. So for now we can talk about the 05's rear view mirror.

ford will definatley get pics of the first stangs of the line they have been doing that since 1964

 

i dont think ford will be doing that.........why because i still dont see prices and they wont go outta there way to give us those then im sure they wont do anything else for us

 

Not that it is too important, and correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think one would be rolling off the line on September 7. I believe I read that it took over twenty-four hours for one to make it all the way through. So maybe Wednesday.

 

I think a commemorative edition book, mousepad or Micro Machine would be nice to get for free if you preordered the car and Ford can see you trust them to buy their product "sight unseen". Well, you never know!

That's what I'm waiting for in the next 4-6 months. Specifically, aftermarket rims and maybe exhaust sounds. I'm the type who wants to see a set of tires/rims on a car before I buy them. Photochops don't always cut it. Looking forward to seeing people's mods.

 

Oh, and more importantly, I want to see some Dyno's of the stock car!!

Wonder if we'll hear anything when Roush releases specs on their car (ie. comparison to stock specs)
