Supercharger or Turbo ?
OK, guys and girls need some input. When the new Pony hit the street in 05 superchargers were the rage and everyone was getting one. Now the trend seems to be the Turbo is the way to go. Have been looking at the Saleen Supercharger for quite sometime and the power is impressive but the costs about $8K is steep. The turbos seem to be putting out the same horsepower and quite abit less. Which way to go? So come on everyone with both systems drop the pros and cons on both would help me a ton. Also anything else you need in add ons or issues. This is planned to be a winter mod so time is on my side.

I'd go with a turbo but it's all personal preferance. I like turbos because they make the car more streetable at high power levels. You can get away with less sticky tires and less drag oriented suspension at the track too. They also make more power in the long run.
If you want the power instantly and lots of torque/low end power, supercharger is your ticket. I'm pretty sure a supercharger is going to be cheaper 9 times out of 10 but if you found one for cheaper then go with it.
